Firstly let us introduce you to the tractors. You get two options of tractor to purchase. The first is the green traditional tractor circa mid 1900's. The second is a red modern day tractor.
Both Tractors enable a feature that has long been requested but which for technical reasons was for a long time deemed impractical from a implementation point of view. This being Multiple plot Plowing and Clearing. Joey has worked wonders in finding a way to make this a viable feature, so a big hand has to be given to him.
The Feature is a bit tricky to get to grips with. Below is a step by step guide on how to use the feature correctly which together with some trial and error should see you being proficient with the feature in no time.
1. Purchase the tractor from the Cash Shop
2. Place the tractor on your farm from your Gift Bank
3. Click the Plow icon as normal
4. Click on the tile you want to plow or clear
5. Select "Plow" or "Clear"
6. The cursor will change from the plow image to the tractor image and the tile will change to plowed or grass
7. If you just wish to plow/clear a single plot click the mouse button as normal
8. If you wish to plow/clear multiple plots drag the cursor over the tile(s) you want to plow or clear.
9. The tile will continue to change until you click on the mouse to stop that action
10. When you stop that action the cursor will change back to the plow image
11. Make sure you click the plow tool again to put it away when you are finished.
Note: As you are rolling the cursor over each tile you will get the message as if you individually selected each tile (e.g. "That cost you $xx") and the cost will be deducted from your total money in-game and the tile will change accordingly. However nothing is saved to the server until you click your mouse button to stop the current action.
What do I do if I make a mistake while plowing/clearing?
It is a little tricky to use at first so you will make mistakes. Plots you don't want to be plowed will be plowed and plots that you don't want to clear will be cleared. However as nothing is saved to the server Until you click the game window again to stop the action. Simply move your mouse up to the Refresh Button on your browser and click. This will reload your farm minus the plow/clear actions you are currently carrying out.
Why can't I plow under or harvest wasted crops with the tractor or combine?
There is a safety measure with the multi-plow function that will not allow you to accidentally plow crops--and wasted crops are considered crops. The combine will not harvest wasted crops. If you have wasted crops, you must first CLEAR the plots with the tractor then you can plow and plant as usual.

2. Place the combine on your farm from your Gift Bank
3. Click the Harvest icon as normal
4. Click on the tile where you want to start harvesting
5. If you just wish to harvest a single plot click the mouse button again to stop the harvesting action
6. If you wish to harvest multiple plots drag the cursor over the tile(s) you want to harvest.

8. When you stop harvesting the cursor will change back to the plow image
9. Make sure you click the Harvest icon again to put the harvester away when you are finished.
Note: Money is not added to your account until you click the mouse to stop the harvesting action and the Saving message is gone
