Multi-Farm / Upgrading Farm Size
From MyFarm Wiki
Help, my farm is gone!
Don't Panic...It's not lost, it's just on a different server.
Click this button (Top Right of Screen)
You will get a screen like this:
If you have only ever worked on one farm then they will all show Cash of about $1000. There will be one farm that has more Cash, Animals, Plants & Crops. Just click VISIT and you will be back to your main farm.
IF for some reason that button doesn't work for you, you may have had your farm before all the server additions.
What you will need to do is: 1. Click on myFarm, 2. scroll to the bottom of the page and find the word SETTINGS, 3. click on Server A and see if your farm is there. 4. If not there, try each server until you find your farm.
How do I upgrade to a larger farm?
Go to http://tinyurl.com/67fl57 and follow the instructions.
Be warned that your crops will be moved to the edges of the larger farm. Go into full screen and use the navigation button to find your crops. You cannot MOVE your crops. If you want to rearrange your farm after upgrading to the larger farm, you will have to plow/plant new crops.
Farm size is 30 x 30 = 900 in total
Remember to click the GREEN server link to get back to your farm - do not presume it is on Server A, you may have to check each server to find your farm.
How do I downgrade to the smaller farm?
Go to http://tinyurl.com/67fl57 and click on "Click here to downgrade to the original size." If you have added new items, such as a house, and it's "missing" when you down size, you need to zoom all the way out, go into full screen, and use the green navigation arrows to scroll around. Your "missing" items (except crops) should be located in the plain green area around your farm. Just click on them and move them back to your farm.
Farm size is 15 x 15 = 225 in total
Remember to click the GREEN server link to get back to your farm - do not presume it is on Server A
I need more space than the bigger farm allows?
Due to server load at this time you are restricted to the 900 square farm. This may change in the future. If you need more space you will have to be content with another farm (up to 5 total) on the other available servers.
Remember to click the GREEN server link to get back to your farm - do not presume it is on Server A, you may have to check each server to find your farm.
How do I have multiple farms / change between servers?
See "Help my Farm is gone" above.
Why do I not see all 5 farms when I click the Server Icon?
If you are a long time farmers (or your friends are long time farmers), ie started in 2008, then you or they may not be "logged" into each of the 5 game server, which is not a big deal, unless you want to add neighbors. When myFarm originally started there was only 1 server. As the amount of players increased, they needed to add more game servers to accommodate the new players. Players that started after all 5 servers were up and running are automatically added to all 5 servers, however, the original players were only added to the servers that were active when they started playing. So some will have 1 server, some 2 servers, some 3 servers and some 4 servers active.
Here's how to check how many servers you have active, and how to fix it if you do not have all 5 servers active.
1. Click on the icon to the right of HELP, with the GREEN LETTER, A,B,C, D or E
2. Look at the pop up and see if you show 5 farms (like the sample on the left). If you do not show all 5 farms (like the sample on the right), then you need to scroll below these samples and follow those instructions:
3. Log into your farm and scroll down to the bottom of the page, below the message wall, and find the word Settings
4. Click on the word Settings, and you will get a screen showing all 5 servers.
5. Click on the Servers you are missing. ie: in the example above, they have servers A,B & C. They will now click on Servers D and E. You can only click one server at a time, so after click on Server D, scroll to the bottom of the page, click Settings again, then click on Server E.
6. You can now use the Green Letter icon to switch servers, if you choose to farm more than one farm. (see Multi-Farm / Upgrading Farm Size to learn about multiple and larger farms.)
7. Ask your friends to click the Letter Icon to make sure they also have all 5 servers active. If not, they will need to add the servers manually also.
Can I move money / objects between multiple farms?
No, you cannot transfer money or move objects that have already been placed on one farm to another. However, all farms share the same gifts database, so you can purchase items in the gift shop with the money from one farm and place them on another farm.
